I did not post a picture on Facebook this week, simply because an onion or turnip is not at all appealing to me, and I do not wish to associate that image with my baby!
Next week we have the bell pepper. I guess we’ve entered the vegetable section, and vegetables are generally better than fruit, until we get to that final watermelon. I am now scared to look at watermelon at the grocery store!
Biggest news – we are signed up for our ultrasound for next Friday! Don’t know if I want to make the news public, and I am kind of nervous about finding out. The whole time I’ve been trying not to admit to myself that I am hoping for one option more than the other..
First off I’m going to have to call my grandma! She really wants to know if she’s having a great-grandson or a great-granddaughter =)
I’ve worn my first maternity pants already. Definitely better than jeans, but still kind of big. It is somewhat terrifying to look at these maternity shirts and pants in small sizes and realize – that is how big I should expect to get!!!
And finally: we’ve been having Project Runway marathons with my mom =) And I got a sewing machine for my birthday, so if there are any other sewers out there – lets unite!
Heidi was pregnant in season 2, and of course she looked absolutely fabulous in many of the outfits (though, not all, in my opinion). And I was absolutely baffled by how big she was in the beginning, and that from that size she still had a couple months left to go!!!
And it was really cool to find out that it was a contestant from the previous season – Kara Saun, that was making all the outfits for her! And while looking for a pregnant picture I also found out that Heidi has her own maternity line at A Pea In The Pod. (why is my birthday already over =((( )
After having 4 kids, I’d think she would know a thing or two about great maternity wear, but it seems most of the stuff doesn’t have stellar reviews…
Today’s question for the audience: do you remember when you first felt the baby moves? What week was it on?
And – is it really possible to contain 3 whole glasses of water in a pregnant bladder? And sit through a 30 minute ultrasound with it???!!!
